The perception of security has been observed as an emergent structure around contingent situations, but it has not been modeled as a mediating factor. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to compare a theoretical model subtracted from the literature review with respect to the observation of an observed model. Correlational, explanatory, and psychometric work was conducted with a sample of 400 students selected for their university's commitment to the implementation of safety protocols. It was found that the mediating effect of job security increases the predictive power of age and gender on organizational resilience. Since the state of the art reports the same finding, it is recommended to extend the study to samples to achieve generalization of the established relationships.
