Abstract

The current research, which is descriptive-correlational in nature, aims to determine how family co-responsibility correlates with early childhood development, particularly in emotional, social, and moral dimensions. Data collection was carried out using a family co-responsibility questionnaire that includes perceptions of parental roles, affective communication, and family consensus. This process also included the use of an instrument to assess early childhood development, aimed at parents of children between the ages of 3 and 5 in the district of Tambogrande. The results indicate that an equitable distribution of responsibilities in education, upbringing, and affection between both parents has a favorable impact on different areas of child development, contributing to the development of socialization, emotional management, and self-control in the parents themselves. This study helps to understand the role of family co-responsibility in the comprehensive development of children, as well as providing a starting point for the design of intervention programs aimed at promoting shared and equitable parenting practices.
